On September 27, 2015, ¡NUEVOlution! Latinos and the New South officially opens to the public at Levine Museum of the New South. Over three years in the making and the museum’s most ambitious project to date, ¡NUEVOlution! is a 3,500 sq. ft. bilingual, interactive exhibit with robust programming, civic dialogue, collaborative art and online media that explore the surprising ways Latinos are shaping the South and the South is shaping Latinos. Melloweb spent a year and a half filming up and down the South to create 20 short story driven documentaries that lie at the heart of the exhibit.
A+ Schools of North Carolina is the largest, longest running, most successful arts-based whole-school reform effort in the nation. Since 1995, A+ Schools has been using the arts as a catalyst for creating connections and making school engaging, meaningful and enjoyable places to teach and learn. In 2007, Melloweb was commissioned to produce 10 short documentaries for cARTwheels, a N.C. Arts Council project devoted to bringing opera, theater, and dance experiences to every child in North Carolina. Rodrigo Dorfman travelled across the State documenting dozens of performances and workshops.
In 2015, Rodrigo Dorfman was hired to film in over one dozen Magnet School in Wake County, North Carolina and create short five-minute videos for each pathway and dozens of individual mini-videos highlighting teachers, students, administrators and parent.
